Digital Millennium Copyright Act — Notice & Takedown Procedure
APKVenom respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects contributors to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, we respond promptly to valid copyright infringement notices.
1 Our Copyright Policy
All content published on APKVenom is either:
- Original content created by our team
- Licensed or used with explicit permission from the rights holder
- Used under fair use for commentary, criticism, or educational purposes
- In the public domain
We take copyright infringement seriously. If you believe any content on our site infringes your copyright, please follow the procedure below.
2 Reporting Copyright Infringement
To file a DMCA takedown notice, send a written notification to our designated agent containing all of the following:
3 Where to Send Your Notice
We aim to process valid DMCA notices within 48–72 hours on business days.
4 Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your name, address, phone number, and email
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your consent to jurisdiction of the court in your district
- Your electronic or physical signature
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will notify the original complainant and may restore the content after 10–14 business days unless a court order is received.
5 Repeat Infringers
APKVenom has a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers.
